Step 01
Brief & context
Review of drawings, references and objectives. We define scope, level of detail and how visuals and design will support the project at its current stage.
Step 02
Structure & direction
Early studies focusing on spatial layout, proportions and overall direction. Initial visuals are used to test ideas, framing and atmosphere before moving further.
Step 03
Design development
Architecture and visuals are developed together. Materials, light and spatial relationships are refined through focused feedback rounds, keeping the work aligned with the project intent.
Step 04
Output & use
Final material is prepared for its intended use — planning, presentation, client review or communication. Deliverables are structured to remain useful beyond a single image.
05 — Studio
EX-NOVO is an architect-led studio founded by a RIAI-registered architect, working at the intersection of architectural design and visualisation. Based in Ireland, the studio collaborates with private clients, architects and real-estate professionals on projects at different stages of development.

The work combines architectural design thinking with CGI and immersive visual tools, supporting early decisions, planning-level design and clear communication. Visualisation is used as part of the architectural process — not as a separate or purely marketing exercise.

The studio operates with a focused, project-specific approach, defining scope and level of involvement for each commission and collaborating with external consultants where appropriate.
